How Pricing Works

  • Pay-as-you-go: Only pay for time your CVMs are running
  • Per-second billing: Pay for exact seconds, not rounded hours
  • No hidden fees: We track usage automatically
  • Stop anytime: When you stop a CVM, billing stops instantly
  • No minimums: No subscription or minimum usage required

Compute Unit (CU) Based Pricing

We use Compute Units to keep pricing simple:

What is a Compute Unit?

1 Compute Unit = 1 vCPU + 2GB RAM + 40GB SSD = $0.069 per hour

Standard Machine Types

  • tdx.medium: 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 40GB SSD = 1 CU = $0.069/hour
  • tdx.large: 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM, 80GB SSD = 2 CU = $0.139/hour
  • tdx.2xlarge: 4 vCPU, 8GB RAM, 160GB SSD = 4 CU = $0.279/hour

Custom Configurations

You can create custom-sized CVMs. We calculate CUs based on your highest resource use:

  • CPU units = (vCPU count) ÷ 1
  • Memory units = (Memory in GB) ÷ 2
  • Storage units = (Storage in GB) ÷ 40

Example: A CVM with 2 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 40GB SSD uses 2 CUs ($0.138/hour) because CPU is the highest value.

Minimum Requirements: At least 1 vCPU, 1GB RAM, and 10GB disk (still charged as 1 CU)

Account Tiers and Limits

  • Developer Tier: Up to 10 CVMs, 40 vCPUs, 80GB RAM, and 1TB storage per account
  • Enterprise Tier: Unlimited resources with dedicated nodes

GPU Instances

For AI and machine learning:

  • h200.shared: NVIDIA H200 GPU with 140GB VRAM, 24 vCPU, 256GB RAM
  • h200.dedicated: 8× NVIDIA H200 GPUs with 1120GB VRAM, 192 vCPU, 2048GB RAM

Note: Free credits cannot be applied to GPU instances.

What You Don't Pay For

  • Stopped CVMs: $0 when powered off
  • Storage for stopped CVMs: Currently free
  • Setup time: No charge for image pulling or creation
  • Failed starts: Not charged if CVM fails to start

Network and Regions

  • Regions: Currently available in US, with EU coming soon
  • Pricing: Same rates across all regions (all prices in USD)
  • Data Transfer: Each CVM includes bandwidth based on size

Legacy Free CVM Instance

For legacy accounts with existing free CVM instances:

  • Legacy instances will be automatically reclaimed 6 months after their creation date
  • Manual deletion may occur at any time for inactive or non-compliant instances
  • Migration recommended to paid plans for continued service

For larger workloads:

  • Volume discounts for sustained usage
  • Annual billing options
  • Custom support packages
  • 99.9% uptime SLA
